Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca stated on Friday that Cole Palmer is set to return for the team's vital top-flight fixture against local opponents Arsenal.

The 23-year-old English international was out of action due to a broken toe incurred after an accidental occurrence.

“He is available to start and to play,” Maresca declared. “All involved are pleased.”

This season, Palmer has made only four appearances in all tournaments, finding the net on two occasions.

After joining from Manchester City in the previous year, he has achieved 45 goals and 29 assists in 101 matches for the London club.
